The 2nd Annual Farmington 500 Frighteningly Fast 5K will take place on Sunday October 22, 2017, in Farmington, NH. The Kids' Run will begin at 9:30 AM and the 5K Run/Walk will begin at 10:00 AM.

Participants, spectators, and volunteers are encouraged to participate dressed in their favorite Halloween costumes. Special prizes will be awarded to kids and to adults for the best costumes!  Awards will also be presented to the top adult male and female finishers in specific age categories and to the top children’s (12 and under) finishers. This event will be a family-friendly, fun activity for everyone and we encourage all to join us.  Like us on Facebook for additional updates!

Cost:

5K / Walkers-$30 (First 50 registrants before October 1, 2017 will receive a t-shirt)

Kids Run-$15 (First 50 registrants 12 and under will receive a t-shirt and all kids will receive a finishers ribbon)

Race Day Registration: Sunday, October 22nd-8:30am at the Farmington Municipal Office, 365 Main St.

Packet Pick Up: Race packets can be picked up the day of the race starting at 7 AM at the Farmington Municipal Office, 365 Main St.

The funds raised at this event will help the Farmington 500 alleviate the costs associated with insurance, referees, umpires, field and facility maintenance, and equipment, which are all vital to the success of our program. 

Events

The Kids Run will begin at 9:30 at the Municipal Building.  The children will run down Green St and return to the Municipal Building.  Each registered runner 12 and under will receive a finishers ribbon and t-shirt. A face painting tent and tattoos will also be set up for children to have a little extra fun!

The 5K/Walk will begin at 10:00. The course map is provided below.  Medals/Awards presentation will be held after the race. Refreshments will also be provided.

 Parking

Parking is available along Main St, at the Farmington 500 Baseball facility at 12 Summer St, and in the public parking lot at the Farmington Fire Station on Main St.
