Farmington 500 basketball is set to return for the 2025-26 season. This season we will are opened up to children from all towns. Registrations close on November 21st. Opening Day is set for Dec. 6th.

The divisions remain the same this season:

Rookie League: 1st & 2nd Grade

Minor League: 3rd & 4th Grade

Major League; 5th & 6th Grade (and 7th graders that are 12 and under on Sept. 30)

The girls division will play at FHS, while the boys will play at HWMS. The times are TBD depending upon registration numbers and the number of teams we have in each division.

We do not accept coaching requests or teammate requests. All players will be evaluated during skills sessions that will take place the first three weeks of the season (Dec. 6, 13, 20). Teams will then be assigned and we will have opening day of games on Jan. 3 for majors and minors. Rookies will begin games in January, exact date depends on overall skill development of the group. There will be five games following the New Year, including the night games, to give us 8 weeks of play throughout the season. The Night Games will take place on Jan. 31 or Feb. 1... those details will be announced at a later date.

For those interested in more basketball, we are hopeful to have travel teams for 3rd/4th and 5th/6th grade boys and girls. The cost is $150 with practices once or twice a week, a few regular-season games and 3 tournaments in the seacoast area. These are competitive teams and playing time is not equal or guaranteed. Tryout information will be made available soon.

If your child is 4 or 5 years old on Sept. 30th, then they are eligible for the Little Dribblers program, which will start after the New Year and registrations will be available soon.
